Appeal after Cambridge stabbing

Dear Resident,

We were called at 3.10am today with reports of violence – namely a man that had been stabbed on Market Hill, Cambridge after being approached by two other men.

Officers arrived on scene two minutes after the initial call and searched the area. One man has been arrested so far in connection with the stabbing and enquiries are ongoing.

Paramedics attended and the man was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, where he remains.

A scene is in place to preserve any forensic evidence and an investigation has been launched.
